研究背景：本論文的研究者即為驗光師，對驗光師的自我期許是本論文研究的重要動機。研究者想了解自己在取得驗光師證照後，是否在職場上展現了專業？消費者因為驗光師專業職能的服務能在哪些方面獲益？均是研究者取得驗光師證照後所關注者。研究目的：本論文的目的旨在透過溝通與傾聽的問診路徑，蒐集消費者對驗光師專業素養的覺知情形，以作為檢視驗光師專業素養，落實於知行合一的可行建議。研究結果期能強化驗光師「以人為本」的專業倫理與溝通和傾聽的專業問診方式，破除傳統「營利為首」的經營模式，達到門店的永續經營。研究設計與實施：本論文乃針對個案進行的質性研究。首先透過文獻分析，確立本論文深度訪談問卷設計之理論依據，採取深
度訪談，並輔以問診和觀察，蒐集實徵資料進行質性分析。受訪者則為自願參與之消費者，研究者依據性別、年齡、職業別、配鏡經驗和用眼習慣或問題等立意分類後，再隨機取樣，最後參與深度訪談者計10名，並恪守研究倫理。研究結果：本論文實徵研究發現有六：一、民眾對視力保健的觀念仍薄弱，也存在配鏡認知的迷思。二、縱令《驗光人員法》已經通過，但傳統眼鏡行非專業導向的經營模式仍然存在，可喜的是驗光師的專業已受到民眾的關注，故為守護民眾的視力健康，應依據《驗光人員法》持續推動驗光師以其專業素養服務消費者。三、消費者自身權益的維護需要強化其對驗光師專業素養的認識；相對的，驗光師也需要尊重自己的專業並力行之。四、驗光師的
專業素養有理性價值、感性價值和象徵價值三個層次，可作為驗光師樹立專業品牌的自我期許和目標。五、無論自我改變或改變消費者均需從建立其價值觀做起，教育消費者也需要改變其信念和態度（認知），不能止於改變消費者的行為。六、驗光師專業素養的落實就是要做到「專業=教育+服務」。結論與建議：本論文主要的結論有二：一、嚴謹親切的溝通和傾聽之問診歷程，並和消費者良好互動是驗光師展現「以人為本」專業素養「被看見」的表徵。故驗光師專業權威（專業職能）和人格感召的魅力（職場倫理）是驗光師自主自律展現專業素養的圖像。二、促進驗光師專業素養成長的挑戰是「知行難以合一」。故在適者的生存競爭法則下，臺灣眼鏡企業的新文化亟待重
塑，俾讓合理行銷、相互理解、科學診斷、有效處方、專業素養的問診和提供的服務形成一個「善的循環」。基於上述結論，本論文提出以下建議：一、驗光師專業素養及消費者的覺知研究可質量化並行，更需跨領域的整合研究。二、驗光師專業角色的社會地位應該提升，並倡導「眼科醫師和驗光師雙師一體」；另可配合「換證」制度，從優獎勵專業服務的驗光人員，加速建立驗光人員終身學習制度化。關鍵字：溝通與傾聽、驗光師、專業職能素養、消費者覺知、專業倫理
