本創作論文以禪美學特質為文本依據,以文獻探討研究禪美學特質對於在八十年代前後闖入巴黎時裝舞台,被喻為「日本新浪潮」,且風格散發出濃厚的東方風彩,並隱含禪宗美學特質的日本設計大師:山本耀司、三宅一生及川久保玲的時裝創作歷程後,運用解構主義之方法理論為創作手法,透過創作過程及公開展出,闡述親證禪精神及美學的義理內涵。本創作以服裝為載體,展現出自身對於禪思想文化及禪美學藝術的體悟,讓更多人了解禪學思維,傳遞禪本質上是洞察人生命本質的藝術,是一種落實到現實生活的實踐美學,進而提供另一種生命角度及生活美學。

禪風應用於包裝設計的創作研究 實相無相

在區域文化的特質逐漸地消弭的二十一世紀,人們對於現狀的反動繼而汲汲於身、心、靈的探索,禪學風潮因應而生,影響層面包含藝術到當代設計領域,成就了禪與藝術相輔相成與密不可分的關係。當代藝術的追求是—重視創作本身所傳達的精神性,一種將「信念」轉化成為「行動」的意義,正與禪的追求—抽象的精神意涵十分近似。本研究創作欲尋追求「禪」、「包裝設計」與當代社會所追求的「精神性」三者之間的交集,來達成創作之目的與核心。禪為題,包裝為載體。嘗試將「禪」的抽象意涵轉化成為視覺語言之設計創作,且須符合下列要件:一、包裝的機能性;二、「一紙成型」結構;三、避免平面視覺元素。本文分三階段進行。第一階段將禪與藝術、設計,

以及禪在台灣的樣貌和包裝設計等相關文獻之歸納整理,以作為創作的取材與立論基礎。第二階段,為禪風設計案例表現形式分析,以符號學觀點解構分析其禪意涵,以作為下個階段創作發想的參考。第三階段為設計創作階段,將禪風應用於包裝設計的製作過程與實踐之記錄、思考脈絡論述與檢討,期能對日後相關研究提供具建樹的參考價值。研究目的在於:一、探討禪的核心思想以及禪思維對於美學的影響與發展,作為創作立論依據。二、尋求禪之抽象的意涵轉換成為視覺語言的方法。三、實踐具備創意與旨趣的包裝設計,以創造包裝設計的新經濟。四、包裝結合藝術性,以落實藝術生活化之目的,以提升生活品味與素質。
